This position exists to create preference and active-users in law schools in an assigned territory by assessing the needs of the customer, developing school-specific business plans, and promoting the advantages of LexisNexis products and services.

Responsibilities

Acting as a Consultative Sales Person, by supporting law school customers in order to increase active usersWorking at all levels of law schools including students, faculty, librarians and leadership (i.e., law school Dean-level)Hiring and managing a team of student representatives Developing strategic account plans (which will differ school-by-school) with the goal of maximizing student preference and driving useage Demonstrating deep product, content or practice area knowledge; acts as internal resource for sales, marketing and segmentPreparing and delivering specialized customer presentations that communicate our value proposition and differentiators to create new active usersConducting research, analysis of findings and shares information with product, segment and marketing as applicableManaging resources strategically including an annual marketing budget and student rep payroll

Requirements

Have a Juris Doctor degree; State Bar membership is highly preferredPossess 1-2 years of legal practice experienceDisplay excellent verbal and written communication skillsHave experience developing and executing on account plans and coordinating key stakeholders and resources to positively impact clientsDemonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professional demeanor, business maturity, and technical knowledgeHave the ability to travel to local accounts

Primary Location Base Pay Range: Home based-New York $78,700 - $131,400. 

If performed in New York City, the base pay range is $85,900 - $143,300.If performed in Rochester, NY, the base pay range is $71,600 - $119,400.

This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
